At The Wood Fired Oven we strive to deliver our clients with a unique dining experience. With a background in the culinary field for more than 20 years, Chef Zach and the WFO team will provide the service and hospitality your event deserves. No mater the size of the event we take pride in customising the menu to your taste.
On the day of your event, the WFO crew will arrive 1 1/2 hours before with their unique pizza trailer and begin setup. During setup we light the fire and get the oven up to 900 degrees. This allows us to cook your Neapolitan pizzas and appetizers to perfection. Our oven and our 24 hour fermented dough gives the pizzas a delicious crisp crust and a moist chewy interior.
At the beginning of the event, we suggest, having some appetisers for your guest to eat while the pizzas come out of the oven so there is not a rush and everyone can relax and eat at there own pace. Your guest will enjoy seeing the preparation of the hand rolled and hand tossed pizza (the chef often tossing the dough in the air) then topped with fresh locally sourced ingredients to create the pizza choices you have pre-ordered. Pizzas are served buffet style so your guest have the option to taste different styles of pies.
